Sami’s career started at Carroll & Partners Ltd over 15 years ago. Working within a number of teams gaining a deep knowledge of how the business operates and finding ways to drive efficiency and increase service levels across all aspects. Appointed as Managing Director in 2017, Sami works closely with the rest of the executive team to manage the ever evolving business.

Noel’s career started in the property underwriting room of a multi-national reinsurer in the late 80’s before making the leap into broking in 1993. Noel joined Carroll & Partners Ltd in 2003 as a UK producer and was part of the management team that completed an MBO in October 2007, becoming the Managing Director at that point. The business has since quadrupled in size and now operates from four offices around the UK. Towards the end of 2017 Noel took on a Group role as UK CEO and still remains a Director of Carroll & Partners Ltd.
After graduating from Oxford University, Peter became a television current affairs interviewer. This led him into starting his Insurance broking career as the first graduate trainee in CT Bowring which is now Marsh McLennan. He specialised in Political Risks both direct and reinsurance which were new to the Lloyds market. He founded the first Carrolls business in 1982 and went on to build a very successful group of companies. With both U.K. and International clients, Peter has again joined his team up with his former colleagues at Carroll and Partners.
After graduating from Leeds University with a law degree, Sindy trained as a Chartered Accountant with PwC (formerly Price Waterhouse) in London and Manchester, becoming a corporate tax manager. She moved into industry in 2001, working as Financial Controller and then Finance Director for D Barnett Brokers Ltd, a retail insurance broker, and UK Facilities Ltd, a UK wholesale insurance broker, together with D Barnett (Buxton) Ltd, a small personal lines business based in Derbyshire. In 2009 UK Facilities was purchased by the IHL group, and Sindy was appointed as Group Finance Director, and she continued her role as Head of Finance when a majority shareholding in the IHL group was purchased by the PSC group based in Australia. Sindy drives all aspects of financial management, board and bank reporting, and financial regulatory compliance.

DIRECTOR - HEAD OF UK DIVISIONS
Greg joined the group in 2013. With 15 years’ London Market experience in various guises, Greg has a wealth of knowledge in both Property and Liability exposures. In his career he sees reliability and personability as key factors in building and retaining supportive working relationships. Excellent relationships with the Lloyd’s and London Market Insurers have allowed Greg to progress at a reasonably early age.

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR, BOLTON
Albert has over 30 years’ Experience of handling high risk trades and leisure business. Whilst also running our Bolton office, Albert can place business with Lloyd’s and North West regional markets. Premiums range from £250 for a D&O Policy to in excess of £100k for a large multi-tenure mill.

HEAD OF COMPLIANCE
Dean has worked in the insurance broking market since 1993, firstly gaining vast experience on the Finance side. He moved over to Compliance in 2009, learning the regulatory rules and requirements of insurance brokers and how to effectively maintain compliance with them.
Having joined the group in March 2017, Dean is now responsible for ensuring all companies with the UK group (including Carroll's) establish and maintain effective systems & controls, policies & procedures to enable compliance with all regulatory rules and requirements.

Jason has 22 years experience in the insurance industry and has specialised in Professional risks in the last 16. In that time having worked as an account executive and placing broker Jason has also undertaken secondments working at clients offices assisting their insurance departments and is equally at home placing risks from the very small to large multi layer global placements. He has strong relationships with underwriters and can access the breadth of markets in London which allow him to place a variety of risks including the difficult and unusual.

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY
Matthew has been part of the London Insurance market since 2006 , specialising in international property for most of his career. He has experience in the placement of insurance worldwide, but has particularly focussed in Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. He has over 15 years of experience broking within Lloyd's of London as well as with UK and overseas company markets. He joined Carrolls in 2021 to manage it's newly formed International Property team, and has become an established part of the Carrolls team and PSC network.

Richard’s experience spans 40 years broking in the Lloyds & London market. His main speciality is property & casualty risks from high volume schemes to large single risks. Richard has a wide range of experience in other Lloyd’s orientated special risks and is the go to man for the unusual placement requests.

After completing her law degree, Sharna continued her legal training with a masters in International Finance Law from King’s College, London and the Legal Practice Course from the College of Law. Sharna spent several years with the Financial Ombudsman Service, developing her knowledge of the insurance and regulatory sector. She then made the move to Compliance with a role at Arthur J. Gallagher (UK) Limited before choosing to progress her career with Carroll’s. Sharna is now responsible for all operational matters within the Carroll's and the wider UK group.

Simon started his insurance career over 20 years’ ago at Marsh, working on a self-insured insurance product for the Foreign Office. Since then he has worked in claims and even as an IT systems manager, until moving to the London Market in 2005, where he now leads Carrolls Private Clients Team in London. Complementing Sonia Kowalski’s team, Simon successfully operates Carrolls in-house UK High Net Worth and associated Overseas Home binders, whilst also placing associated art, jewellery and other bespoke covers. As a Divisional Director, Simon now concentrates on building lasting broker partnerships and delivering a high quality of service, with the help of his highly experienced team.

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR, PRIVATE CLIENTS
Sonia has over 40 years’ experience in the HNW sector, working directly for insurers and Lloyd’s syndicates, as well as broking, operating binding authorities and acting as a cover holder.
She started her career working as an Underwriter for Phoenix Assurance, before moving on to an independent broker. She was also Underwriting Manager at Wellington Personal Insurances (a HNW MGA) before joining Chubb and then became the Household Underwriting Manager at Brit Syndicate 2400. Sonia joined John Holman and Sons Ltd in 2004 before moving across to Carrolls in 2016, along with her highly experienced team. Specialising in Open Market placement, Sonia can offer access to all of the major players in the HNW Market.

DIVISIONAL DIRECTOR, MOTOR FLEET
Trevor has 13 years of experience working within the Lloyds and London wholesale Motor Fleet market. Having originally held a handler position in 2005 at John Holman & Sons Ltd, Trevor subsequently held the role of Fleet Broker before joining Carroll Holman as a motor fleet manager in 2016. As a Divisional Director, Trevor now concentrates on developing all aspects of the Carroll Holman motor account including the relationships with all of our independent broker partners. With 10 motor markets available and one of the most significant wholesale motor accounts in the market, you can be assured that Trevor and the Motor Team can deliver the results and high quality service that is demanded in the modern motor market.
